Biography
Farid Ghrich is a Research Assistant working on the ‘Beyond 1932’ project. He is a political scientist in international relations with experience in international development, media and arts, especially in the MENA region. He is interested in exploring the links between radio broadcasting and music production in the Middle East and North Africa, between the 1930s and 1950s.
He will be namely in charge of producing a series of podcasts with scholars and artists, related to the Cairo Congress heritage, in collaboration with the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris and Counterpoints, a London-based NGO supporting the arts by and about refugees and migrants.
