
Biography
Emma Smith is a Research Associate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London.
Emma joined King’s in November 2021 as a Research Associate on The Stepping Stones Study. She completed her PhD at the University of Worcester where she also taught as an Associate Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. Emma holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Dundee and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Georgia.

The Stepping Stones Study
A longitudinal study aiming to understand how health and social care providers can best meet the needs of women who use drugs and the needs of their babies.
