Biography
COMPASS digital cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for people living with diabetes. |
The aim of the project is to understand what adaptations are needed to an existing digital CBT intervention (named COMPASS) to best support the needs of individuals with diabetes. COMPASS is a digital cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) intervention designed to treat anxiety and/or depression in the context of long-term physical health conditions (LTC’s). Currently the intervention is being used across many LTC’s and this project is designed to aid the understanding of how COMPASS can best support those with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The project also aims to understand more about the implementation of COMPASS into routine NHS care for individuals with diabetes.
