Biography
Throughout my career, I have navigated diverse fields, including forensics, research, NHS, and service provision, honing my skills in molecular techniques. I possess a deep understanding of wet lab methodologies, from challenging DNA/RNA extractions to cutting-edge NGS techniques such as 10x single-cell sequencing. My journey led me to successfully manage the King's College London Genomics Centre (KCL) for two years before transitioning to a newly created Single Cell Omics Platform (SCOP) as a manager.
In my current role as the SCOP Manager, I am responsible for overseeing and optimising the operations of our Single Cell Omics facility. This involves coordinating and leading a team in executing cutting-edge single cell analysis techniques. I actively contribute to the advancement of scientific research by ensuring the efficient functioning of the SCOP and supporting researchers in leveraging its capabilities.
