Biography
Cristóbal Rodero is a research assistant in the Department of Biomedical Engineering in the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences. During his PhD he has worked on the creation of cohorts of cardiac digital twins from clinical data and their analysis both in terms of shape (through Statistical Shape Modelling) and in terms of function (through electromechanical simulations), supervised by Professor Steven Niederer and Professor Pablo Lamata. His expertise also includes virtual testing of medical devices and analysis of cardiac geometry to create synthetic hearts.
