- Lecturer in Clinical Skills Education
- Head of Clinical Leads, Simulation & Interprofessional Education at GKT School of Medical Education
- Lead role for GKT Clinical Simulation programme as a longitudinal strand of delivery (Years 1-5) including writing and implementing the curriculum simulation strategy.
- Lead for Interprofessional Full Patient Simulation programme. Responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of final year clinical simulation focusing on human factors and collaborative practice involving students from 6 health care professions.
- Research focus on strategies to enhance the learning of human factors skills.
- Key role in the strategic approach to the strategy, delivery and governance and quality of clinical skills and simulation education programmes at GKT School of Medical Education and Key and Teaching Hospitals Sites.
- Block Lead for Clinical Skills in Stage 1 (year 1) Introduction to Values Based Clinical Practice module.
- Responsibilities for ensuring quality assurance and the rigorous evaluation of clinical skills and clinical simulation teaching and learning provision across partner hospital Trusts.
- Participates in the standardisation and evaluation of teaching and learning processes across other sites. Providing faculty development training to medical and nursing faculty.
- Development of Technology Enhanced Learning resources.
- Curriculum development, research, and evaluation.
