Charles Curtis is Facility Manager of King's Genomics at King’s College London, where he leads a large, dedicated team utilising state-of-the-art facilities that support world-class research and innovation.
With over two decades of technical, management, and leadership experience, he has specialised in genomics, high-throughput technologies, and strategic infrastructure development.
Charles has played a pivotal role in advancing research capabilities and service provision, from establishing COVID-19 testing facilities during the pandemic to securing multimillion-pound equipment investments. His expertise spans operational strategy, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring technical teams, ensuring sustainable, high-quality services that underpin King’s research excellence
