Biography
Dr Bertrand Lacroix A Chez Toine is a Lecturer in Statistical Mechanics of Disordered Systems in the Department of Mathematics, King’s College London. He did his undergraduate studies in Physics at Ecole Normale Paris-Saclay and Sorbonne Université. He then obtained his master in theoretical physics from the same university. He received his PhD in theoretical physics from Université Paris-Saclay in 2019, working on “Extreme value statistics for strongly correlated systems”. He held a first postdoctoral position in the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2019 to 2021 and a second in King’s College London from 2021 to 2024.
