Ben Gridley is Head of Technical Services in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences (NMES), King’s College London.

In this role Ben is strategic lead for the faculty’s Technical Services function, with responsibility for ensuring that departments have the technical resources and support they need in the delivery of their academic mission and related strategic developments across the Strand, Waterloo and Guy’s campuses.

Ben’s portfolio includes among other duties: resource management (space, workforce planning and finance); health and safety governance, compliance and assurance; research and education technical support; research infrastructure and facilities; asset management; capital planning estates strategy.

Ben holds a PhD in synthetic chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
