Biography
Dr Arief Gunawan is a consultant haematologist in King's College Hospital London specialising in the management of Plasma Cell Disorders such as Multiple Myeloma. His primary research interest is in the biology of myelomagenesis and the translation of this knowledge into clinical practice. His secondary research interest lies in the role of MYC in B cell and plasma cell malignancies. Finally, he is also interested in the role of different ethnicities in the biology and management of Multiple Myeloma. He is currently part of Dr Reuben Benjamin research group.
