Anna is the lead for clinical communication and module lead for the Stage 1 Introduction to Values Based Clinical Practice on the MBBS degree programme. She joined King's in 2021, moving from an education based role within the NHS. Anna has a clinical background, having worked as a doctor in Emergency Medicine prior to moving into academia. She has completed a MA in Education for Clinical Contexts, publishing her dissertation research which explored how doctors experience uncertainty.

She is currently studying for a PhD in Medical Education at King’s, looking at how medical students conceptualise and construct their professional ideals in the context of their personal identities, and how this influences professional identity formation. Anna's academic interests also include clinical communication, widening participation, and wellbeing.
