
Biography
Anette Johansson Singarajah joined King’s College London Language Centre in 2016. She holds a Teaching Degree in English, German, and History from the University of Linköping, Sweden (1997). She speaks Swedish, English, and German fluently, has intermediate proficiency in French, beginner-level Italian, and understands Norwegian and written Danish.
Anette teaches Swedish across all levels, from beginners (A1/A2) to advanced (C1), within the Short Courses (Evening Classes) programme. She delivers courses both online and on campus, drawing on her extensive experience as a native Swedish teacher.
Her teaching approach is interactive and student-focused, aiming to develop both linguistic accuracy and cultural understanding. Anette is particularly passionate about introducing learners to Swedish customs and traditions, while helping them navigate the language’s grammatical structure and distinctive pronunciation features such as word stress, intonation, and melody.
