Biography
As a dentist, Ana is passionate about the biology of oral cavity, particularly looking into tissue development to get inspiration for natural repair in case of injury. She believes a better understanding of development of the face and oral cavity results in more efficient ways of combating various conditions that affect these tissues.
After receiving a PhD in developmental biology in 2018, she was appointed as a post-doctoral research associate at Imperial College before joining Professor Sharpe’s lab where she is investing her passion on discovery of new avenues to enhance the repair process of tissues within oral cavity.
