Biography

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, specialising in biochemistry and its relationship to human health. I have previously worked on topics related to genetics and its associations with various diseases. Currently, I am collaborating with Dr. Ana Rodriguez-Mateos on research that explores the role of polyphenols in cognitive and vascular health while also focusing on the broader connections between nutrition, mental well-being, and the role of gut microbiota.

As part of the polyphenol interest group, I contribute to the development of guidelines for polyphenols, studying how these compounds influence human health.
