As a Lecturer in French Language Education at King's College London, she designs and delivers inclusive, research-led teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Her pedagogy blends creative writing, theatre, translation, and transcreation with digital tools and neuroscience-informed strategies to foster student engagement, well-being, and academic success.
Her research explores inclusive language pedagogies and performative, creative approaches to language learning that support both academic development and student well-being, and the use of serious games and digital platforms to support differentiated instruction. She regularly presents her work at national and international conferences, contributing to the evolving discourse on innovation in language education and teacher development. She also collaborates with colleagues across Modern Languages and the wider Humanities to explore interdisciplinary approaches to pedagogy.
Pastoral care is a central part of her role. She provides academic and personal support through one-to-one tutorials, mentoring, and wellbeing initiatives. She is committed to creating a sage, supportive, and empowering environment where students feel valued and encouraged to thrive both academically and personally. Her approach has helped students build confidence, develop intercultural awareness, and pursue careers in education, translation and international relations.
She also contributes to curriculum development, assessment design, and the supervision of student research projects. Her teaching has been recognised through multiple student nominations and institutional commendations for excellence. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she is committed to reflective practice and maintaining high standards in teaching and learning.
With international teaching experience in France, the United States, and the UK, she brings a global perspective to her work and aims to equip students with the linguistic, intercultural, and critical skills needed for lifelong learning and global citizenship.
