Biography
Dr Achim Mambu Vangu was born in Muanda, on the west coast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). He graduated from medical school at Université Kongo in Kisantu in 2016 with distinction. He currently works in the surgical department at the Hôpital Provincial de Référence Kinkanda in Matadi. He is actively involved in research and is an instructor for the Primary Trauma Care course, as well as the in-country coordinator for King’s Global Health Partnerships in the DRC.
