The Unit today welcomed Zoe Jordan, Quality Manager at Australian not-for-profit welfare organisation Wintringham, to discuss specialist residential service provision for people who are experiencing or are vulnerable to homelessness and complex needs.

The roundtable event was attended by stakeholders from Framework Housing Association, the Mayday Trust and the London boroughs of Islington, Haringey and Lambeth. Also present were King’s researchers Jess Harris (who organised the event), Jo Coombes, Hannah Piggott, Stephen Martineau, with Prof Michelle Cornes (Salford, and Visiting Professorial Fellow at King’s) and Dr Michela Tinelli (LSE).

Discussion focused on sharing good practice and on identifying service provision and research evidence gaps in this area.
