King's Careers & Employability are moving in March
We're moving as part of the broader Campus Futures programme underway!

King’s Careers & Employability will be moving this spring into a new shared Student Centre on our Strand Campus. The move will place our student facilities alongside other essential advice services, making us more accessible and visible for our students. We’re also moving our staff offices to Waterloo Campus.
What this means for our Strand Campus services
Appointments for students, recent alumni and researchers are moving from the Strand Careers Centre on floor five of the South East Wing of Bush House to floor four in the North West Wing.
Below explains the temporary changes to some of our services in between these dates.
Our current dedicated location will close permanently on Friday 14 March and with it our dedicated Careers Centre space, our enquiries desk, takeaway materials and workshop spaces.
Appointments currently hosted in the Strand Careers Centre
From Monday 17 March, appointments due to take place at the Strand will be offered online for a five weeks whilst construction is finalised on our new shared location on Strand Campus.
Physical appointments will restart using the new Student Support Centre on floor 4 of Bush House North West Wing from Tuesday 22 April (after the Easter break).
A shared enquiry desk will replace the dedicated careers enquiry desk after this point, but will not be staffed by dedicated careers staff, so please check our website if you have questions about careers and employability support.
Please ensure you check the automated booking and reminder emails to clarify where your appointment will take place.
Appointments currently hosted on other campuses
Students can still access in-person appointments at our Careers Centre on Guy’s Campus or, for students in the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), on our Denmark Hill Campus.
Please ensure you check the automated booking and reminder emails to clarify where your appointment will take place.
Workshops and masterclasses
With the Strand Careers Centre event space closing, from 7 March onwards, in-person workshops or masterclasses will be held online, as our usual workshop room will no longer be available. We continue to explore alternative physical locations on the Strand and details will be confirmed on events if they are taking place in alternative locations.
What this means for our staff offices and employers visiting
Our staff offices are relocating to the James Clerk Maxwell Building on the Waterloo Campus. If you are looking to engage with our teams at King's, please review the information on our Employer Engagement website and note that you may need to now meet us on a different campus to where you are used to visiting.
You can still find us online
Our digital services will continue as usual and are available in the following ways:
- Digital careers education on KEATS including CareerSet
- King’s CareerConnect where you can view opportunities, explore our Pathways and check out our events calendar.
- Watch event recordings on KEATS or listen to our podcasts
