I was delighted to be given this award. I think it raises important questions about how we make decisions for our patients and paves the way for further research using more contemporary imaging techniques

School Clinical Lecturer awarded Young Investigator award
NIHR Clinical Lecturer, Dr Daniel Bromage was awarded the British Society for Heart Failure Young Investigator Award 2018 at their annual autumn meeting held last November.
Dr Bromage along with three other Young Investigators presented at the meeting and his presentation titled ‘Using cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging to improve classification of ejection fraction’ was selected by a panel of judges.
Dr Bromage is a NIHR Clinical Lecturer working in the Cardiovascular Sciences Section within the School or Cardiovascular Medicine & Sciences and at King’s College Hospital as a Cardiology Registrar, subspecialising in investigating the role of inflammation after myocardial infarction in the development of heart failure
