Professor Emeritus Colin Bushnell awarded Compositio Mathematica Prize
Professor Emeritus Colin Bushnell, who passed away in January, has been awarded the Compositio Mathematica Prize for his article with Guy Henniart, Local Langlands correspondence and ramification for Carayol representations.
Compositio Mathematica is an internationally-leading peer-reviewed research journal for pure mathematics. Its highly prestigious prize is awarded every three years in recognition of the best research that it has published during that period.
'We are greatly saddened,' Professor Fred Diamond said, 'that Colin is no longer with us to celebrate this tremendous achievement.'
