New appointments announced for King's academic
A King’s academic has been appointed to two new roles with leading international organisations.
Professor Ramon Pacheco Pardo is set to join the advisory board of the Jeju Forum, South Korea's main annual international relations, peace and security forum.
In the role, Professor Pacheco Pardo will offer strategic guidance to the forum organising committee regarding themes and speakers.
Prof Pacheco Pardo, who is head of the Department of European and International Studies, has also been appointed as an advisory committee member of Reset Korea, a think tank of JoongAng Ilbo, a major South Korean media outlet.
In the role, Prof Pacheco Pardo will write regular columns for the newspaper on the international relations and foreign and security policy of Korea.
