The Radiology AI Summit is focused on addressing the significant challenge of integrating technology into the healthcare system, while also developing a sustainable and effective business model. This is a rare opportunity for industry leaders, academics and clinicians to gather and discuss these challenges.

London Institute for Healthcare Engineering to host Radiology AI Summit 2025
The Radiology Al Summit (RAIS) is an exclusive annual event uniting industry-leading experts, academics, clinicians, and policy advocates for two days to collaborate on bringing forward Al into clinical and diagnostic settings.
200 selected leaders have been invited to surface and debate the most pressing issues in our space, from clinical validation, regulation and safety, to groundbreaking research and Real World Evidence (RWE), to practical application, and getting the true Return On Investment (ROI) from AI-based solutions in clinical practice. The vision of the Summit is that the discussions and connections fostered will ultimately drive practice and policy change for the wider adoption of AI in healthcare.
The second annual Summit is co-hosted by the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering (LIHE), King’s College London, deepc and Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.
The Summit will take place from 11-13 February across a few remarkable venues in London, each selected as a setting designed to inspire collaboration and innovation. These include LIHE, the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and The Middle Temple.
Programme highlights include two keynote speeches, one from Dr Katharine Halliday, President of the Royal College of Radiologists. Dr Halliday, a Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at Nottingham University Hospital, has previously served as the Chair of the British Society of Paediatric Radiology. Her leadership and expertise across her extensive career have been instrumental in shaping critical guidelines and advancing radiology practices on a national scale.
The second keynote speech will be given by Professor Andrea Rockall, President of the European Society of Radiologists and Clinical Chair in Radiology at Imperial College London, who has clinical expertise in genito-urinary imaging. Professor Rockall's special interests are in genitourinary cancer, image-based clinical trials, and machine-learning applications in radiology, being Chief Investigator on CRUK and NIHR-funded studies in these areas.
We are excited to be hosting this event at LIHE and to provide a space for all healthcare stakeholders to come together and discuss how to break down barriers to the adoption of AI for the benefit of patients. Impactful, ecosystem-wide initiatives like this are why LIHE is fast becoming the destination for MedTech in the UK.
Dr Nicolas Huber, Director, Commercial Operations and Partnerships, London Institute for Healthcare Engineering
Radiology sits at the forefront of AI’s transformative power in healthcare, and the rapid pace of innovation in AI for radiology is both exciting and challenging—exciting because of the potential to revolutionize patient care, and challenging because the path to meaningful and scalable adoption can be complex. Achieving lasting impact requires close collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry. The Radiology AI Summit unites these key players to drive the conversation forward and advance patient outcomes.
Dr. Franz Pfister, CEO and Co-Founder of deepc
By fostering knowledge exchange, exploring recent progress, identifying key challenges and determining the next steps forward, this event is a unique opportunity to participate at the forefront of advancing Al into medical use.
