Professor Paula Booth

Professor Paula Booth, Head of Chemistry, has been appointed to the Strategic Advisory Network of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (ESPRC). The network is drawn from academia, business, the third sector and government and advises the ESPRC on cross-cutting policy development.

Paula’s appointment follows those of Professor Barbara Shollock, Head of Engineering, to the Engineering Strategic Advisory team and Professor Anatoly Zayats, Professor of Experimental Physics, to the Physical Sciences Advisory team.

I’m delighted to be appointed to EPSRC Strategic Advisory Network and have the opportunity to engage with EPSRC and advise on strategy, especially against a backdrop of all the challenges researchers and society are currently facing. It’s also exciting to be able to draw upon some of the vision and cultural changes we’ve been embedding in King’s Chemistry and across the Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences. "
