On 11 June 2024 Unit colleague Nicole Steils was part of the team of researchers presenting emerging findings from the ‘Evaluating the Implementation of Digital Social Care Records’ (DiSCRE) study at the first ‘Lunch and Learn’ webinar. 24 participants from involved research sites, Integrated Care Boards, and stakeholders in the sector attended the seminar. The DiSCRE study is undertaken by colleagues of the Social Care Rapid Evaluation Team (SOCRATES). The team was commissioned by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) to undertake rapid evaluations of service developments and innovations in social care. SOCRATES is a collaboration between researchers from the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Central Lancashire and King’s College London.
