Congratulations as academic promotions are confirmed
The head of the School of Politics and Economics has congratulated academic staff after the latest round of promotions were confirmed.
This year, 14 members of staff from across the Department of European and International Studies and the Department of Political Economy were successful in their applications for promotion, with Professor Peter John paying tribute.
Promoted are:
To professor: Damien Bol, Christel Koop, Konstantinos Matakos, and Santiago Sanchez-Pages
To reader: Paul Sagar, James Scott, and Lucia Pradella
To senior lecturer: Federica Carugati, Russell Foster, Steven Klein, Julian Limberg, Thomas Purcell, Jonathan Leader Maynard, and Francesca Vantaggiato
Prof John said: “I’d like to offer my congratulations to everyone who was successful in their application for promotion this year. The School of Politics and Economics did superbly well in this round of promotions, and it is a great privilege to work with such an outstanding group of academic professionals who are making a huge contribution both to the faculty and university.”
