The United Kingdom voted to leave the EU in 2016.

Borders, Brussels and Boris: The story of Brexit (so far!) saw Prof Menon, from the UK in a Changing Europe research centre, take questions from guests covering a range of issues around the UK’s vote to leave the European Union in 2016.

Topics covered included trade, immigration, international relations, Scottish independence, Article 16 negotiations and even the nature of referenda themselves. Prof Menon also looked at the possible benefits of Brexit as well as the potential pitfalls.

The event took place on 9 February. You can find out more about the UK in a Changing Europe here.
