Student satisfaction scores were calculated based on the National Student Survey (NSS), where the BEng in Biomedical Engineering also received the highest rating out of all undergraduate programmes at King's.

I am so pleased to see that all the hard work that our staff and students put into our biomedical engineering course at King's has translated into this number-one ranking for student satisfaction within the Russell Group. I would like to thank everyone in the School and our central Faculty teams for making our course the best for students.

The programme also ranked second for research quality in the list, based on data from the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 which collects information on the quality of research produced across various subject areas studied at universities in the UK.

Building an inclusive and supportive learning community where everyone feels that they belong and have the ability to succeed has always been at the heart of our programme. The high student satisfaction is a result of our students and staff working together over many years to maintain this community, and I congratulate everyone on our collective achievement.
