At the Homelessness series

Reporting findings from the national survey on use of the MCA

Court of Protection

Over 330 people attended today’s webinar in the Homelessness series at King's in which Jess Harris presented early emerging findings from the NIHR HSDR-funded study, Use of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) with people experiencing multiple exclusion homelessness in England.

The findings were drawn from a national survey of practitioner experience of use of the MCA conducted last summer. The presentation brought together the survey's quantitative elements and free text content.

Thank you for such an informative and relevant webinar on Wednesday morning. It was so validating to see our concerns recognised and to see such a fantastic level of interaction from so many services, I’ll certainly be keeping an eye open for similar webinars in the near future and will be sharing the information with my colleagues.
