Strand Campus, London

27Febabstract header 1

Dr. Spike Gibbs (King's College London) presents ‘Whose was the fifteenth-century manor court? Seigneurial jurisdictions, peasant economic activity and ‘middle-class lordship’ in late medieval East Anglia (England)’.

The talk will last for 45 minutes, followed by 15-30 minutes of questions.

The lecture will be followed by a wine reception. We will go to dinner afterwards with the speaker, which attendees are welcome to join at their own expense. (If possible, the bill may be subsidised for students.)

We will book the dinner on the day, so interested attendees do not need to let us know in advance.

EXTERNAL TO KING'S?

If you are external to King's, please head to the reception desk of the Strand building to sign in.

Dr Spike Gibbs is the new Lecturer in Medieval European Economic and Social History in the Department of History, King's.
