The Vocations Group is for those who are considering what they may be being called to be and to do by God (most of the time the focus of the Group is on Christian ministry, but not always).

We will be joined for this meeting by Dr Shanon Shah, Director of Faith for the Climate, a charity that equips, inspires and encourages more ambitious faith-inspired action on climate justice. Shanon worked in human rights advocacy, journalism, theatre, and music in his native Malaysia before moving to London in 2010. He is a King’s graduate (PhD in the sociology of religion), and is Tutor in the Study of Islam at the University of London’s Divinity programme. He also conducts research for the Information Network Focus on Religious Movements (Inform), an independent educational charity based at King’s.

All staff and students at King's are welcome to join us to hear Shanon's story – he will also be speaking at the service in the Strand Chapel beforehand at 1.10pm.

The plan is to meet in person, but it may be possible to join by Teams if that’s easier for you – please contact clare.dowding@kcl.ac.uk to arrange this.
