Join King’s Volunteering on a visit St Mary le Strand, the university’s local church that sits on the doorstep of Bush House.

Built in 1714-21, St Mary le Strand is a Grade 1 listed building, where people come together, reflect and enjoy a sense of shared cultural heritage. The church is currently undergoing a large-scale development project, The Jewel in the Strand, to conserve, restore and open up this wonderful building.

Volunteers are crucial to the running of the church and the Jewel in the Strand project. Whether its stewarding and sharing the fascinating history of St Mary le Strand with visitors or providing hands on support for events that the church host.

In this tour, you’ll get a chance to visit St Mary le Strand, learn more about their history and ambitions, and how you can volunteer your time to support their mission.

Spaces are limited to 40 people and will be given on a first come, first served basis. If you are no longer able to attend, please let the team know.
