Contemporary fighting in Ukraine and in Israel/Gaza has challenged the role of international law in global society, and its ability to intervene in times of crisis. In this roundtable discussion, a number of international legal scholars and practitioners will explore the capabilities and limits of the United Nations Security Council and International Courts and Tribunals in addressing these modern conflicts, and the legal issues they bring to light.
