This rapid reaction seminar will present an academic perspective on the role of European Law in providing potential ways out of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Researchers will look at various issues, including:
- the use of sanctions under European Union Law
- the role of human rights and the Council of Europe
- Ukraine's application for membership to the European Union
- the European Peace Facility
- the nuclear threat & the use of weapons
- how to ensure cybersecurity
- fighting fake news
