The Intellectual Property Law Reading Group is a student-led initiative, which aims to cover timely IP issues and encourage discussion on various topics surrounding UK and international copyright, trade mark and patent law.
This project was called into life by two King's College London PhD researchers and is meant to serve as a forum for idea exchange for early career researchers, doctoral students, taught postgraduates, undergraduates, practitioners and legal professionals. Furthermore, the IPL Reading Group provides a networking platform and a chance to meet other IP enthusiasts.
We usually meet every last Wednesday of the month at the King's College London Strand Campus during term time. Sessions are episodic rather than serialised, so please feel free to drop in at any point throughout the academic year.
Please note that this is not a lecture, seminar, tutorial class or IP legal clinic. This initiative is designed to be a discussion group, where participants are invited to engage with topics that are related to their areas of expertise and interested participants should be familiar with literature listed in the reading section for each session. Additional reading is voluntary.
