If you’re a King's masters student working on any topic related to the fields of air and space power, both historical and contemporary, this is an opportunity to discuss your research interests with FASI staff and PhDs. The session is designed as an introduction to FASI where you can discuss your dissertation proposals and get tailored advice from experts in the field.

Postgraduate Air and Space Conference

Who: Submissions from Masters and PhD students

FASI is hosting its inaugural Air and Space Conference, and we welcome submissions from postgraduate researchers, both Masters and PhD level, touching on any aspect of air and space power, and spanning any historical and geographical focus. We encourage those working in a range of fields to apply, and themes may include, but are not limited to:

  • Policy and ethics
  • Doctrine, technology and operations
  • Climate and sustainability
  • Culture and identity

We are looking for submissions for 15 minute papers.

Please note the June conference is open to students both within King's and external participants. 

Kindly send any queries and submissions to fasi@kcl.ac.uk.

Submissions should include the proposed paper title, a short bio (max 100 words) and an abstract (max 300 words).

As detailed in the attached cfp, submissions are due by 28th February 2025 and applicants will be notified on 21st March 2025.
