Make Yourself at Home - Art Workshop

Bush House Arcade, London

17SepThe outline of a house

Take your shoes off, have a cup of tea, and let’s make ourselves at home!

Join us for day-long making sessions using cardboard to create unique objects and interior elements. Throughout the week, we’ll build a collaborative installation reflecting our ideas of sanctuary and feeling at home.

What can we add to the room to make it feel safe and comfortable? Draw and add a life-sized object that makes you feel at home. Attach it to the wall, prop it up, or place it on a shelf. Share your thoughts on a label, and help create a shared sanctuary.

This is a perfect chance to meet fellow new students, make friends, and share your thoughts on what makes you feel at home.

Bio

Emily Tracy makes site-specific socially engaged projects which encourage the exploration of place. Projects start with research, and seek participation using the asking question, or collecting of story, histories, data or objects. Running through the projects are re-occurring themes around environment, natural history, and human impulse to collect and sort.
