King’s Experts Series: Shaping Global Leadership in the 21st Century

What is leadership? What does it mean to be a leader today? What role does innovation play in leadership? And does everyone have equal access to leadership opportunities?

Our January webinar will explore the evolving concept of leadership and what King’s is doing to reshape existing narratives in response to the global challenges of today’s world.

Join our panel of King’s experts who will discuss their own research and experience of leadership; analyse how leaders can drive innovation across sectors, tackle global challenges of the 21st century, and ensure access and attainment are not defined by background or gender.

What makes the leaders of the future? This event promises to inspire and ignite conversations on leadership as we navigate a rapidly changing world.

You’ll hear from:

  • Rachel Stockey – Head of Entrepreneurial Skills at King’s Entrepreneurship Institute.
  • Professor Rosie Campbell – Professor of Politics and former Director of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership from 2018 - 2024.
  • Dr Michael Flavin – Reader in Global Education at the African Leadership Centre and Director of the President’s Global Leadership Award programme.

The session will last 60 minutes and will include a structured panel conversation followed by an opportunity for some questions from the audience.
