International Women's Day Writing Workshop

The Exchange, Strand Campus, London

05MarIWD writing workshop

In celebration of International Women's Day, join us for a relaxed afternoon of writing with King's Feminist Perspectives.

The workshop will be an opportunity to write a reflective piece addressing future generations of women and girls. Facilitators will provide prompts and support you with your writing, but the format, voice, theme and style is completely up to you.

The event is drop-in and open to all students and staff at King's. You don't have to be an experienced writer - if you want to try out creative writing for the first time, or haven't done it in a while, this is a perfect opportunity to give it a go.

Writing materials will be provided, and there will be tea and scones to nibble on too. Join us for a relaxed Wednesday afternoon of creativity and reflection!

Feminist Perspectives is a blog created to publish research-based work and art-based projects that use gender as a category of analysis or explore it as part of a creative process. It aims to bring together students, scholars, artists and activists, and to create an outlet to discuss gender from a multidisciplinary and intersectional perspective.
