Imaging Bites: Navigating Regions of Interest Across Imaging Modalities
New Hunt’s House, Guy’s Campus, London
Join the Imaging Bites Lunch & Learn Seminar Series
This Imaging Bites seminar will explore navigating regions of interest across multiple modalities and spatial scales using computer vision techniques. Efficient registration and visualisation are crucial for integrating diverse imaging data.
In this talk, guest speaker Kohki Konishi, Visiting Scientist, Developmental Neurobiology, will introduce an integrated imaging workflow featuring a novel image registration technique and a user-friendly graphical interface. Kohki will demonstrate the workflow by showcasing the targeted navigation of fluorescently labelled synapses on high-resolution electron tomograms. This example will highlight the power of this approach for correlative microscopy and multi-scale image analysis.
Join us for this 30-minute seminar, on the power of bioimage analysis, followed by an interactive Q&A and complimentary lunch. This event is open to all King's students and staff interested in imaging - it is free, but registration is required.
Guest Speaker: Kohki Konishi, Visiting Scientist, Developmental Neurobiology
