To mark the establishment of a partnership between the Centre for Asia Pacific Strategy and the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies, we would like to invite you to attend this online Symposium. The partnership seeks to provide contemporary expert analysis on strategic issues effecting the Asia Pacific Region. The Symposium will be an annually occurring event, with the focus of each year’s event reflecting important strategic trends or issues arising in the region.
Six speakers, all regional experts from government, academia and the private sector, will focus on what the UK's Global Maritime Britain posture into the Asia Pacific region means for UK/ Republic of Korea (ROK) strategic relations. With discussions covering the intersection between geostrategic appreciations, economic power and maritime power.

The presenters will speak for 15 minutes followed by 15 minutes of audience Q&A. There will be a further 30 minutes for questions at the end.
