The recently established Cultural Competency Unit are bringing together a diverse group of staff from across the university to help shape the future of cultural competency at King’s. Through joining these interactive workshops, participating staff will actively help co-create a new cultural competency module. All members of staff are welcome to apply.
In joining these workshops, you will have the chance to learn more about cultural competency, reflect on your own experiences, and explore connected issues. You will also have the opportunity to gain leadership experience by working with colleagues from across the whole university to shape cultural competency at King’s, making connections beyond your own area and sharing what you learn.
The workshops will be divided into two sessions (A and B). There will be two sets of workshops but you can choose from the dates that suit you best. You should aim to attend an A and a B session but please indicate on the form if you can only attend one session.
