2021 Events
Our Careers in China events are a unique way for organisations based in mainland China and Hong Kong to engage students and alumni from seven world-class universities. This is a joint partnership led by The London School of Economics and Political Science and Imperial College London in collaboration with the University of Cambridge, King's College London, Columbia University, the University of Chicago and UCL.

Event outline
The online events will include online industry panels, employer presentations, Q&A sessions and an online careers fair where you will be able to talk live to recruiters from the participating organisations.
Our virtual Careers in China (Mainland and Hong Kong SAR) Fair will take place 9 – 13 August 2021, 3:00pm – 9:00pm (China Standard Time).
We have selected an innovative virtual platform and tools to provide quality interactions between students and employers. You will have access to:
- live careers fair
- one-to-one text and video chats
- student and graduate profiles and CVs
- support and guidance from university careers team.
Who is it for?
- We would like to invite employers who have opportunities (internships, graduate schemes, experienced hire positions etc.) in mainland China and Hong Kong to participate in the fair.
- The fair is for organisations who are looking to attract and hire high-calibre students and recent graduates.
- The fair attracts employers from a broad range of sectors including (but not limited to) Accounting and Auditing; Advertising, Marketing, PR, Media, Entertainment, Publishing and Journalism; Banking & Financial Services; Consultancy; Education, Teaching and Research; Engineering; FMCG, Manufacturing and Retail; Government, Public Sector and Policy; Health; Information, Digital Technology and Data; Law & Legal Services; NGOs, Charities and International Development; and Real Estate and Environment and Energy.
Students attending
The Careers in China (Mainland and Hong Kong SAR) programme provide employers with the opportunity to meet top calibre students and graduates from prestigious UK and US universities. The students in attendance will be from a variety of subject disciplines and will represent a mixture of undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates. This means that whatever your hiring needs, you’ll meet relevant students.
