This joint honours mathematics and philosophy degree offers an extremely wide choice of philosophy modules -with coverage from pre- Socrates to the present day- and particular teaching strengths in philosophy of mind, philosophy of science and the history of philosophy. The mathematics element gives students a foundation in many branches of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, probability and geometry. Students on the Mathematics & Philosophy with a Year Abroad BSc will spend their third year studying abroad before returning to complete a final year with King’s. Students on the three year course may transfer to the four year Mathematics & Philosophy with a Year Abroad BSc.
