The Chemistry with Biomedicine with a Year in Industry BSc course will give you a strong theoretical and experimental understanding of chemistry. You’ll explore the different strands of chemistry and apply them to biological and biomedical systems - all under the guidance of our research-led scientists. Alongside this, you’ll gain valuable work experience with the opportunity of a year-long internship at a major UK company. By the end of your studies, you’ll be an articulate, flexible and biomedically-aware chemist, ready for a career in a wide variety of industries, from chemical, biotech and pharmaceutical industries to finance, law and media.
