King’s College London Students’ Union or KCLSU, is our award-winning independent students’ union and has over 400 societies, sports and other student activity groups for you to join. As a King's student you'll automatically become a member of KCLSU, and membership is free.
Whether you’ve been doing it for years or feel like trying something new, there are an enormous variety of opportunities where you can get involved, make new friends, have fun and be part of the student community. You can even create your own student activity group!

King's Student Union offers a range of social areas for you to eat, drink and relax during your time at university, all at student friendly prices. Take a look at our available social spaces on-campus below:
Guy's Bar & Hut: Located on Guy's Campus, Guy's Bar & Hut is King's oldest student bar, restaurant and night club. Guy's Hut offers a range of food including vegetarian, vegan and halal options, as well as hosts quiz and sports nights. Take a virtual 360 tour of Guy's Bar.
The Shed: Located at Guy's Campus, The Shed offers an alcohol-free social and relaxing space for students to grab a snack or coffee, hang out with friends or study. Take a virtual 360 tour of The Shed.
The Shack: Located at Bush House on Strand Campus, The Shack café offers a social space to chill out with friends or to study. The Shack offers a menu of hot drinks and food including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan snacks. There's also a performance corner for budding poets, musicians or comedians to entertain. The Vault: Located at Bush House on Strand Campus, The Vault is the newest student bar, restaurant and night club. Offering a wide range of food including vegetarian, vegan and halal options, The Vault is a great space to unwind during the day or socialise until late in the evening. Our KCLSU offers a number of ways you can help to make a change through volunteering and fundraising, campaigning or participating in student elections.
Whether it's helping with sustainability and conservation projects, running social activities in a hospital, or campaigning for change, KCLSU can help support and fund members to help make a difference.

Wellbeing
Starting university can be daunting, however KCLSU offers a range of activities, events and resources to help boost your wellbeing and help you make new friends.
KCLSU offers a peer support group, delivered by students for students, to help create student-only spaces for socialising, offer peer mentoring for new students, and weekly in-person activities and student skills workshops all free of charge. Find out more on the the KCLSU wellbeing webpage.
Help & Advice
