Social Mobility & Widening Participation
Discover more about Social Mobility & Widening Participation at King's.
This annual conference is a unique opportunity to hear from and ask questions to all five of London’s medical schools; King’s College London, University College London, Imperial, Queen Mary University of London, and St George’s University of London. Information, guidance and advice focuses on the medicine and dentistry admissions process, how teachers can support their pupils, and alternative options to medicine such as Healthcare, allied health and science options.
Teaching staff from non-selective state schools and colleges across England. Applicants outside of London and from areas with limited university outreach engagement are prioritised.
We encourage applications from schools located in disadvantaged communities (for example, POLAR4 quintiles 1&2, Acorn groups L-Q, and IMD quintiles 1&2) and who’ve achieved below the national average Attainment 8 and Progress 8 scores at GCSE.
This conference takes place annually online via Teams.
