Delivered in collaboration between the King’s Social Mobility & Widening Participation department and South London Citizens, part of Citizens UK, an alliance of community groups that build power locally to hold decision makers to account.
There are two key parts of Parent Power:
“I’ve really enjoyed meeting other parents as part of the Parent Power programme. It’s great to meet parents who have the same concerns and care about the same issues. It’s also really shown me that if you come together as a group, you can achieve things that you would not have been able to achieve alone.”
Parents living in South London who want to improve their knowledge and understanding of higher education.
If your child is taking part on King’s Scholars or Scholars+ you will be given priority.
Parent meetings are held every six weeks on a Saturday 10am-12pm. We meet parents online or on our campuses, with childcare and lunch provided.
Relational 121’s are mostly held online.
