A three-year programme of activities supporting the educational pathways of year 7-9 pupils.

Over three years, King’s Scholar students learn about university life, explore a diverse range of subjects, and discover the different career paths available after university. Throughout pupils are taught how to supercharge their learning through metacognition. Pupils are given tools to increase their sense of wellbeing empowerment.

Pupils learn important metacognitive and reflective skills essential for learning and participate in activities such as:

• In-school sessions delivered by trained King’s student ambassadors
• Trips to our campuses
• Remote activities, KS connect and KS challenges

We also host parental engagement events.

King’s Scholars has been co-created with partner secondary schools. We work with 8 local schools in Lambeth, Southwark, and Westminster, including the following:

• Ark Globe Academy
• King Solomon Academy
• Bacon’s College
• Harris Academy Peckham
• St Michael's Catholic College
• Notre Dame RC Secondary Girls' School 
• Elms Academy
• Saint Gabriel's College

Activities are mostly run on the King’s campuses or in schools. Additional remote activities run online or via text messages.
