IntoUniversity support underrepresented young people to achieve their ambitions. From their learning centres they run after-school academic support sessions and mentoring. They also run in-school programmes like Focus weeks for primary and secondary schools.
King's Social Mobility & Widening Participation Department work in partnership with the charity to deliver activities for primary and secondary school pupils. King’s students and staff also mentor young people, helping them with their educational and career pathways.
We partner with IntoUniversity to support their Kennington Centre in Lambeth and deliver higher education awareness events.

IntoUniversity may also run Focus programmes with you in your school, helping you to find out more about university life and career opportunities.
As a charity IntoUniversity aim to reach target groups of young people. Most of their programmes only welcome pupils who meet set criteria, including, but not limited to, being eligible for free school meals, living in social housing and being care experienced.
Young people who meet their criteria in years 6-13 and who live in Lambeth can join the Kennington Centre.
Young people living across the UK can look for other IntoUniversity centres local to them.
King's Widening Participation Department host events like Focus days, Big City Bright Futures or higher education workshops on our campuses. We also support centre-run or in-school workshops for IntoUniversity students across London. Mentoring takes place in centres and online.
