Social Mobility & Widening Participation

Our Social Mobility Student Ambassadors support our programmes of events and share their experiences of university life throughout the year.
Student Ambassadors are positive role models for young people from underrepresented backgrounds, encouraging them to consider higher education as a viable and attractive option. They lead activities on campus, off campus and online: working with young people, academics, parents, and guests across our range of programmes.
The ambassador role is flexible, and opportunities are paid at the London Living Wage. There are no minimum hours required to work per week, however students are expected to work a minimum of 8 hours throughout the academic year.
If you're interested in other student ambassador roles once you're a King's student, see our Student Ambassadors webpage for further information about available roles and application procedures.
If you’re interested in becoming a Social Mobility Student Ambassador once you’ve joined King’s, please contact smssambassador@kcl.ac.uk.
As applications are currently closed, you are welcome to complete this form to register your interest in the meantime: Social Mobility & Widening Participation Student Ambassadors - Register Your Interest 24/25 (office.com).
